Yesterday my youngest daughter brought into the world a beautiful baby girl. Just the previous day, I called the White House to ask that President Clinton not veto the ban on partial birth abortions.
What a paradox!
I held my granddaughter an hour after her birth, and could not fathom for a moment the monstrous philosophy and arrogant pride of a movement that says a mother has the right to choose to kill her unborn child a mere three inches away from drawing its first breath.
I looked into my granddaughter's eyes and saw a future designed by almighty God. Through good times and bad, our family will teach this child that the Creator of all life wishes to be her guide through life. How can I say that with such assurance?
Because God echoes Jeremiah 1:5: "Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, and before you were born I consecrated you. . .," throughout the Bible.
With confidence we can believe that God is pro-life!
